High-Level Responsibilities:

Crucial to Carenet’s culture, top candidates will have clinical experience, with a minimum of 3 years recent experience. Responsibilities include: §

Provide care instructions and education over the phone §

Assesses callers’ needs and assists them with issues related to patients care §

Help people with a wide variety of presented health conditions §

Use computer technology to provide care instructions according to approved clinical guidelines §

Document all cases in the call management software system accurately and within Carenet policy §

Ability to multi-task; simultaneously think, talk, and type §

Utilize active listening skills in order to receive detailed information in an accurate manner §

Demonstrate good time management, organization, research, analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills §

Direct and deliver results in support of our URAC and NCQA accreditations §

Maintain a flexible schedule – including evenings and/or weekends

High Level Qualifications : §

Have an unrestricted current RN Texas license or a current state license as a RN, with the ability to become licensed in Texas §

Be able to meet minimum licensing RN requirements in additional States §

Minimum three years clinical experience in acute, ambulatory area, or tele-health §

Minimum of an Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school or Diploma Nursing program §

Effective communication skills to interact with members and physicians §

Strong desire to provide outstanding customer service §

Ability to adapt communication style to persons representing divers personal, professional, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds §

Excellent time management, organization, research, analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills §

Able to work independently and make decisions with minimum of supervision §

Flexible and able to respond to the needs of a 24/7/365 operation §

Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Email, Internet Searches)
