The Operations Expert position provides supervisory and Workers Compensation direction on a day-to-day basis. Additional responsibilities include technical direction, guidance and resources to claims and clerical personnel as well as claims processing, customer service and benefit direction on a day-to-day basis. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: serving as a first line resource for operation associates for workflow and technical related processes; providing operational training; will assist associates by answering day-to-day technical questions; will encourage a teamwork environment; monitor inventory to ensure workflow remains uninterrupted; handle complex case research and resolution; review, interpret and maintain records of service level, quality, accuracy, and productivity and will review department policy and procedure manuals for accuracy.
Requires High School diploma or GED; 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience; 5 + years related experience; 3 + years of experience and expertise with automated processing systems. Experience with Workers Compensation. Strong written and oral communication skills, PC, analytical, problem solving skills; and in-depth knowledge of specialized area; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
