Must meet requirements under No Child Left Behind (NCLB) statute.
Knowledge and/or work experience in subject area.
Display basic knowledge of Math, Reading and English.
Possess good communication and cooperation skills.
Demonstrate patience and flexibility with students.
Exhibit basic employability skills, i.e., punctuality, dependability, attendance and proper grooming.
Assist the instructor with duties as directed by the Academy Coordinator.
Exercises good judgment in handling confidential information concerning students.
Assist students in reinforcement of study skills, note-taking skills, organizational skills and basic academic skills.
Assist students with a variety of instruction activities in CTE classrooms or other settings.
Assist with classroom management.
Technology and Engineering content area, working within the woods/construction classrooms with students.
Terms of Employment:
Ten months - 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday at the hourly rate of $14.28 per hour.
Performance on job requirements will be evaluated annually by the supervisor in accordance with Board and Administrative policy.
