CAREER ASSISTANT, Global Education and Career Development (GECD) Center (multiple openings, part-time, 20 hrs/wk.), to join one of three teams: Career Services, Prehealth Advising, or Employer Relations. Responsibilities include conducting brief drop-in meetings with students, providing resume and cover letter critiques, and answering career-related questions; conducting practice interviews; presenting workshops; and handling special projects such as developing workshops, creating educational materials (e.g., tip sheets), facilitating email listservs, and assisting with greeting students and employers. An employer relations role, meeting and greeting employers and assisting in the management of a web-based career management system, will be a significant portion of the position.

Schedule includes working three days per week but must be available to conduct occasional weekday evening programming. A commitment of two semesters is required, late August 2013 until mid-May 2014.
