The Career Development Program targets goal-driven graduates who want to build a successful future with Jackson by moving through our reward-based training sequence. The program consists of several benchmarks that enable the employee to become registered and sponsored by our firm, build their confidence and comfort level with the product and client and ultimately earn their full-time status amongst their peers. The program is fully compensated throughout, and the conclusion of the program results in an interview and full-time position as an Internal Wholesaler with Jackson.
The Career Development internship program provides a highly motivated individual with an opportunity to learn about the insurance industry, Jackson's products, sales and marketing. This is achieved by working on projects entailing: competitive research, building sales presentations, territory management, and creating analysis spreadsheets. The Career Development program is designed to help you achieve the goals necessary to become a full-time, Internal Wholesaler within approximately 6 months.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Obtain Series 7 registration within 75 days
Complete assigned projects in a timely manner
Learn Jackson's systems, sales model, and products
Perform competitive research and prepare reports
Organize competitive product files and work with product management staff

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing, critical thinking, analytical skills and a drive to succeed
Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication and computer skills and a strong desire to learn and succeed
Must be detail and process oriented
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to perform Internet research, prepare PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheet and chart creation, collecting and reporting on sales data and working with sales management staff
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree or MBA preferred
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
FINRA Series 7 registration, or ability to achieve it within 75 days
