I. Portray a professional image of the company when working with clients and employees while on the phone, in writing and during face to face contact.
II. Maintain an understanding of policy rating and procedures. Knowledge of basic underwriting guidelines and requirements for auto, motorcycle, recreational vehicle, home, boat, rental owner property and related endorsements required.
III. Must be familiar with all departments to maintain smooth transfer of information. Required to communicate accurate information to policy holders and clients. Must be able to use analytical and judgment skills to make independent decisions.
IV. Participate in developing new methods and procedures for handling and resolving the varied array of calls received.
V. Responsible for assisting clients that have questions using the company website for payments or reviewing their policy information.
Educational Equivalent – High School Diploma Required. 60 hour of college credit preferred. Must be a current student.
- PLEASE NOTE: Depending upon qualifications of applicants, another level of this position may be substituted for this position.
Specific Training/Knowledge – Minimum of two years customer service experience preferred. Prior call center experience preferred.
Specific Skills – Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent customer services skills. . Must maintain congruous working relationships with representatives from various areas of the company, and our policyholders. Must assimilate information and produce quick and accurate decisions.
Schedule Requirements: Schedule will vary and includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
