The primary purpose of this position is responsible for the overall daily cleanliness of the building(s) and grounds as well as apartment preparation and overall curb appeal of a multi unit apartment community.
Essential Job Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
Clean all lobbies, entryways and hallways, including windows and floors, light fixtures, dusting mail boxes and heating units, vacuuming area rugs, hallway carpets and mopping steps.
Clean corridors including windows and floors, light fixtures, glass in fire extinguisher and dust or wash baseboard.
Clean laundry and storage rooms including windows and floors. Wipe down washer/dryer and laundry tubs and empty all trash containers.
Clean elevators including floors, walls, light fixtures, and door tracks.
Replace all burned, broken or missing light bulbs and fixtures in all the above mentioned areas.
Apartments (after being vacated) must be thoroughly cleaned.
Keep grounds free of trash including the areas in and around dumpsters, trash receptacles emptied, grass neatly mowed and shrubbery neatly trimmed:
Keep sidewalks shoveled in winter.
Weed landscaped areas as well as parking lot curb lines and cracks between asphalt and concrete in front of garages.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, such as boilers, hot water heaters, vehicles of all types, lawn equipment, etc.
Paint, decorate, perform all necessary repairs, and all other duties, not listed herein, as directed.
Abide by all rules and regulations of Employer.
Must wear uniforms, if provided by Employer, during all work hours.
