The purpose of the Carrier Pricing Analyst position is to support the Carrier Sales team in securing costs, developing pricing, and finalizing proposals to Suddenlink’s customers and prospective customers. This position is a focal point to which processes, communication, accountabilities and procedures are filtered through to ensure an aligned team effort and achieve customer satisfaction. The Carrier Pricing Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining and tracking quote statistics as well as serving in a backup role for customer billing questions, vendor circuit reconciliation/disputes and contract/order preparation.
•Serves as a liaison between customer, sales and engineering/operations to collect network data and information necessary to produce accurate circuit design based upon customer quote request, resulting in a quality quote to Carrier customers/prospects.
•Responsible for database entry related to quoting of circuits, including Salesforce.com and Suddenlink Circuitlink database for on-net sales and off-net vendor for all carrier services, respectively.
•Interfaces with and serves as a backup to Suddenlink A/R on customer billing questions and issues.
•Work closely with Sales and engineering groups to initiate and develop IRR models and quotes, while considering market rates.
•Serve as an interface with bandwidth suppliers and customers to obtain pricing and availability of high capacity bandwidth and to assist in processing of Service Orders where required.
•Assist in other administrative duties, including supplier invoice auditing, processing and billing disputes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

•High school diploma or equivalent required
•Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
•Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint and Google Earth
•Proficiency with Windows-based computer
•Strong professional verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize effectively
•Strong mathematical and analytical skills
•Ability to consider impacts of change systematically and communicate / negotiate those changes
•2 years telecom sales support experience preferred
•Familiarity with industry terminology preferred
•Experience with carrier level services, contracts and communication protocols recommended
•Working knowledge of Salesforce.com, ICOMS (billing) and other databasing familiarity preferred
•Ability to work in climate-controlled areas
•Exposure to typical office environment
•Ability to manage multiple priorities
