Case Mgmt. Specialist
Job Summary: Investigates life insurance claims and makes determination on claims settlement within authorized guidelines.
Examines and processes claims; determines whether to return, put on pending, deny, or pay claim.
Follows established claim policies and practices to resolve claims and issues.
Refers questionable and non-routine claims to senior staff members.
Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
BS degree preferred
2-3 years insurance claims experience
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Problem solving & decision making skills
5 yrs computer experience
Strong customer service skills
Excellent follow-up and attention to detail
