The cash room assistant is responsible for executing cashiering tasks in a very time sensitive environment ensuring high standards while adhering to all standards and policies of the department and organization.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
' Verify register tender versus actual cash count utilizing CRM
' Generate Register Summary Listing Reports
' Prepare bank deposits daily from CRM
' Prepare starting banks for next business day
' Count and wrap coins utilizing GLORY hardware
' Reconcile cash room balance daily
' Verify Vortex coin collector
' Issue starting funds to authorized managers
' Data entry in accounting system
' Provide administrative support during KPMG annual audit
' Perform other duties as assigned
' Associate Degree in Business required.
' Three to five years of checkable cash handling experience in a retailing environment.
' Excellent written and oral communication skills.
' Highly organized, detail oriented and able to multitask.
' Knowledge of CRM and similar software.
' Ability to work independently; without close supervision.
' Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
' Ability to frequently move objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
This position pays $10.00-$12.00 per hour depending on experience. Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays.
