Based at our Greenwood Village Home Office you will primarily be responsible for the monitoring, maintaining and reconciling of the day-to-day operation of the T-RECS automated bank reconciliation system for Cash activities. All store cash and credit card accounts utilize T-Recs.
Responsible for the monthly reconciliation of 3 Cash Depository Accounts in T-Recs, Restaurant Housebanks and Garda invoices/Armored Car Accrual and Payroll
Unmatched Cash – review all outstanding bank and book items prior to period close.
Responsible for the research of any material reconciling differences with current processor and/or bank.
Identify and resolve issues with the bank.
Identify store procedural issues and/or system issues pertaining to outstanding un-reconciled items.
Prepare over/short journal entries as needed prior to period close.
Timely and accurate completion of the close process each period.
Assist Senior Cash Specialist with daily procedures and responsibilities. Act as back up.
Cross-train with Senior Cash Specialist on the monitoring daily/weekly completion of data load and system matching run.
Cross-train with Senior Cash Specialist on communicating process failures, file load issues, system modifications/development, and user requirements to Director. Cross-train on troubleshoot failures with Director/technical resource.
Identify possible solutions to reduce restaurant theft.
Perform Cash piece of NRO setup/follow up including change order setup and initial Housebank request.
Assist with research for guest credit card issues.
Assist co workers as needed to meet deadlines.
Order deposit slips and bank bags.
Perform special projects as assigned.
1-2 years general accounting experience
Finance experience is mandatory. Similar positions include (but are not limited to) Acctounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections or Teller.
B.S. Accounting, Finance or Business preferred.
Able to meet deadlines
Detail oriented with strong communication skills.
Excel, Word, T-Recs software a plus,
JD Edwards, Oracle product experience preferred.
