To give excellent, friendly, upbeat customer service while greeting, ringing up items and exiting customers. To clean and organize the Front End Area, and complete shift duties. Also Cashiers must insure cash registers are attended to, organized, running smoothly and effectively, and that each register has sufficent money in order for cashiers to properly distribute change to customers. In addition Cashiers must have outstanding organizational and public speaking skills. Cashiers at times can be the first face of the store but definitely the last, it is important to make good impressions and maintain relationships.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos [in English]. Ability to write simple correspondence [in English]. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization who only speak English.
Must have basic math skills which include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as department manual.
Ability to adapt to the ever changing high volume retail while working in a cross-functional team environment .
Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
Previous cashier experience is needed.
Understanding what it means to be organized while multi-tasking.

Must have a flexible work schedule.
