This position is responsible for developing, maintaining and servicing Norwegian Cruise Line's casino cooperative business relationships within an assigned territory. This entails participating in the growth of Casino Player Program revenues; designing and implementing international marketing and promotional campaigns to achieve and maximize territory sales objectives; and, within company guidelines, represent Norwegian as the brand ambassador in designated regional locations to create a positive perception and establish casino property partnerships using a variety of strategies and innovative methods.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mines assigned territory for new business streams on a regular basis. Researches and continually sources for new revenue opportunities and methods within territory to achieve sales goals.
Builds and establishes new casino partnerships. Retains and manages business relationships for each casino partner and develops a personalized approach to help maximize profits associated with casino events. Generates ideas and strategies to actively participate in casino partner growth.
Services casino partner needs via problem resolution utilizing knowledge of company products, services and support from Norwegian's corporate marketing team. Follows-up and ensures facilitation of problem through to resolution in a timely manner.
Manages on-property certificate events, promotional offers, group cruises and onboard amenities. Coordinates appropriate staffing and guest support for events.
Plans, creates and implements an annual territory sales plan to ensure achievement of assigned goals.
Reviews sales plan, accounts, promotional efforts and ROI on a monthly basis to determine success track; makes adjustments to plan accordingly.
Creates and executes promotional programs; provides promotional materials to casino partners. Makes recommendations to enhance Norwegian's casino partners' marketing effectiveness and ensures brand standards are met and followed.
Manages budget within guidelines to include travel, co-op, supplies, advertisement and promotions; reviews total budget at the end of each month.
Negotiates sales plans and group contracts. Supports key and channel accounts, promotions and events.
Analyzes accounts' sales and marketing plans and ROI; makes adjustments when needed. Analyses to be done after completion of each initiative and discussed with casino management.
Conducts training, familiarization cruises, cruise events, trade and consumer shows as needed.
Remains current on corporate information, policies, procedures, sales and marketing campaigns, corporate communications and related materials. Follows corporate policies and procedures.
Develops a plan for personal development including, but not limited to, e-commerce strategies, technical skills and soft skills training on an annual basis.
Performs all other job related functions as assigned.
