Sales Presentations

Develop dynamic PowerPoint presentations utilizing various data sources for all new products and key initiatives that can be customized for the entire sales force
Develop fact-based presentations to capitalize on opportunities as requested by field sales
Create in-depth analysis for senior sales management for Chattem’s participation in industry conferences and trade shows
Evaluate new product introductions for both Chattem and competitive products for review by Sales, Marketing and Senior Management
Develop account scorecards to identify opportunities or issues related to distribution, promotions and pricing and evaluate and present actionable insights to sales and marketing management
Provide analytical support for sales and marketing for the National Sales Meeting initiatives
Ad hoc projects as assigned by Vice President of Sales, Group Director of Field Sales and Director of Sales Development
Category Captain

Develop comprehensive business reviews based on all available data sources to identify opportunities for distribution, understanding of consumer insights and planogram recommendations
Collaborate with the field sales teams and their accounts to deliver item-level recommendations regarding SKU selection, placement, pricing and promotional opportunities.
Lead the presentation of the analysis and recommendations with account’s key management during headquarter call in the field
Evaluate the results of the recommended plan of action and provide further recommendations, if necessary
Management, analysis and communication of Nielsen syndicated data

Mapping and formatting Nielsen data into our third party software InfoLync
Confirm accuracy and linking of the data
Manage the Nielsen re-fresh process for our 8 custom databases
Maximize the in-field utility of the InfoLync/Nielsen data
Develop and provide InfoLync training
Identify opportunities for growth

Expand distribution of top selling items and defend distribution of slower selling items using fact-based selling
Improvement of shelf position for all brands and at all accounts
Evaluate pricing and promotion opportunities and develop strategies to improve

Comfortable working with complex data across multiple sources to develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations
1 to 3 years experience in a similar role with a proven track record
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with retail CPG analytics; Nielsen or IRI experience a big plus
Expertise in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Bachelors degree; MBA a plus
Able to travel up to 10% of the time
