About the CateringAmbassador Position:
TheCatering Ambassador for McAlisters Deli must be an energetic, friendly,self-starter with the ingenuity and determination necessary to produce positivesales results and consistent guest satisfaction. Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, as well as strong organizational and time managementability are vital keys to success in this position. The Catering Ambassadormust seek to maintain excellent guest satisfaction within the current clientbase while simultaneously always striving to obtain new business and buildbetter community relations.

General Expectations and Responsibilities:
Present a clean, polite, outgoing, and friendly image to all guests, associates and clients, both internally (within the store) and externally (while in the community).

Aggressively pursue all appropriate opportunities for building catering client database including: obtaining business cards of all new and potential clients while marketing services both internally and externally, conducting regular outside sales calls, consistent tele-marketing efforts, active chamber of commerce membership, civic association events, industry vendor relationships, and any other professional leads which might be beneficial.

Report all client concerns to the General Manager and Area Catering Manager for timely problem resolution and follow up.

Formulate a territory marketing plan with the assistance of the General Manager and Area Catering Manager to support the McAlisters Deli Catering strategy, manage the plan by consistent follow-through, implementing quarterly strategies and tactics to exceed or attain goals.

Work with and develop staff members to assist in the execution of catered events that are delivered and set-up in a manner consistent with The Saxton Group level of expectation to service.

Contact a minimum of ten prospects per day (Fifty per week.).

Specific Job Requirements:
Daily organizational procedures include but are not limited to: day to day maintenance and execution of catering and delivery orders, completion of daily catering tracking log, and completion of all invoicing procedures.

Daily communication with General Manager and/or Area Catering Manager.

Personal vehicle, which will be used for business purposes.

Valid driver's license and ability to meet all company requirements of the Safe Driver Policy.

Ability to cold call both in-person and over the phone, and build strong relationships with existing catering client database.

Comfortable with and have the ability to professionally network.

Excellent written and communication skills.
