Catering Sales Manager is responsible for solicitation and servicing of social catering same day events and small group business. Negotiates contracts, books new and repeat business through outside sales calls, telemarketing, mailings, networking and attending trade shows. Meets with and entertains customers, conducts property tours and participates in industry and community events to promote the resort and its’ amenities. Maximizes revenue through negotiation of services and prices and upselling menu items. Ensures that all client files are organized and current with required information. Follows up with each client to ensure guest satisfaction and solicit rebooking.

High school graduate with two years of college preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years catering sales experience in a full service hotel or conference center with a focus on Weddings.
Proficiency with all Microsoft products, including Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel. Delphi knowledge and previous training preferred.
Possess highly effective verbal & written communication skills.
Must be highly organized, detailed oriented and have the ability to multi task.
Flexibility to work a varied schedule due to business levels and industry demand.
