GDH Consulting has an immediate opening for a Sr. Cisco Network Engineer to support their client’s network in a professional manner. This position requires an intimate knowledge of Cisco routers and switches along with routing protocols. A background from a major service provider is required. ( ATT, Verizon, Time Warner, Cricket, ect) The client has required a CCIE certification. This opening is a 6 month contract to hire and there is no sponsorship available for this position. Requirements:
Professional demeanor with a customer service attitude
Able toy debug complex network problems related to IP routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP,OSPF, BGP), MPLS, Multicast on Cisco routers and switches.
Experience to be able analyze, use and configure medium to large networks.
Routing - General knowledge of troubleshooting Routing issues
Minimum 5 years of networking experience
Minimum 5 years working knowledge of Networking industry, products and protocols
Certification required CCIE
