We are currently looking for an RF engineer with experience in the following areas: LTE, HSPA, WCDMA GSM, CDMA2000, EVDO, TD-SCDMA, and/or TD-LTE. The ideal candidate would be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Wireless 3G/4G Voice/Data Network and protocols. The candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the network support and/or simulator testing/support. The candidate must have experiences and knowledge of wireless system architecture, understanding of air interface access technologies, basic call flows, mobile operations, ability of using network performance tools, and simulator configuration.
    Primary Responsibilities:
  • Internal and external support for and management of wireless voice/data equipment
    • Mobile Operators
    • Internal Cellular Network
  • Help maintain Windows Phone RF simulator resources
  • Design and support building DAS infrastructure
    Technical References:
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or other directly related field. M.S. in related field a plus
  • Must have minimum of 5 years of experience related wireless network engineering and/or network support experience
  • Solid understanding of 3GPP/3GPP2 Standards and some involvement in public forums IP routing & switching including experience with switching, call processing, SCP, and/or authentication platforms
  • Telecom experience must include network operations in many of the following technologies: BSC, RNC, SMSC, MMSC, WAP, HLR, AAA, HSS, SIP, IMS, VoIP, LTE, EPC, ISUP, SS7, MGW/MGC, VoLTE and solid understanding of VoIP and Wireless Protocols (SIP, MGCP, H.323, RTP, GTP, GRE, etc.)
  • Experience in cellular network management and monitoring and hands on experience with debugging tools
  • Strong end-to-end technical knowledge in many of the following areas: Mobility Applications, Mobility Platforms and Operating Systems, VPN, WLAN, WWAN, LAN, TCP/IP, IP SEC, IMS, CDMA, GSM, UMTS, HSPA+, LTE, TD-SCDMA
  • Demonstrate clear and concise communication skills to help debug complex problems

  • Good presentations and communications skills to be able to sell ideas towards team goals
  • Organized and analytical thinking able to overcome to obstacles, and adapt

    • Bonus Skills:
    • CCNA or any network certifications
    • Scripting language capabilities allowing to automate maintenance routines
    • Basic knowledge of wireless applications protocols or services, such as VMS, VVMS, AUTD, CSFB, MMS, SMS.
    • Basic knowledge with 802.11 standard
