The American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and detail oriented entry-level Certification Associate.
This is a highly responsible administrative position requiring intense customer contact and diplomatic skills. Excellent communications skills required. Duties include the use of PC-based applications for letters, memos and faxes. Develop and maintenance of a user-friendly filing system for all certification files.
Responsible for maintenance of enrollments and certifications for assigned designation and clients. The major areas of coverage needed in the professional certification department are; Customer Service, Qualification administration and support, Enrollment administration, Exam administration & support, Class Coordination, Recertification sales and support.
Ideal candidate should have the following essential knowledge and abilities:
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent organization skills.
Proficient in use of personal computers and a variety of software.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
And the following desired knowledge and abilities:
Hospitality industry experience.
Bilingual languages skills a plus
Successful candidate will have 1-2 years hospitality industry experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities
