Assist the client certification & retention processes for the company's customers. Certification Assistant will act accordingly to meet all levels of Customer Satisfaction.
1. Client Retention:
Review expired Supplier Enterprise company files for contact information
Make outbound calls to expired, newly expired, and soon to expired customers follow-up email with re-certification application
Track and Log call activity for monthly report
Understand certification process and benefits of certification with the organization
Learn what is required regarding documentation for certification
Occasionally travel with Certification Mgr. to conduct local site visits
Assist in Scheduling Certification training for interested companies
Assist in Scheduling New customer Value Training
3. Certification applications
Receive and Log Applications (Certification, Recertification, and Reciprocal)
Create folders and upload Certification Applications for Certification Committee Review
Notify Certification Committee applications are on file via email
Maintains integrity and privacy of all files securely under lock and key
4. Database & File Management
Review and update database, at least once a month, to insure all information is current
Add new customers to mailing lists once approved by the Board of Directors
Keep accurate customer mailing lists and updates on a monthly basis

5. Attends and Supports Company Functions and Events
Participates in planning and execution of all events as available
Answers all event inquiries
Assists with Silent Auction as needed
Requires ability to work days leading to and day of event
Assists with outreach and marketing Company events as available
6. Office Support
Supports all office functions
Answers phone calls within 3 rings
College degree preferred
Or, 5 years related experience in customer service & project planning.
Required exceptional customer service experience on the phone and in person
Required a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Software. Public speaking and presentation skills may be required.
Requires the ability to learn company proprietary software, and Project Management and Organizational skills a plus.

Possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand English language, bilingual a plus
Office Equipment Setting: Laptop, Desktop, LCD projector, Printer/Copier/Scanner/Fax Machine, Multi-Line Telephone
Safety: Work safely, independently and around other team members. Work safely in all aspects of the Certification Assistant Role. Maintain clean workspace
2. Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, move, and transport boxes up to 40 pounds in weight. Ability to bend and use proper lifting techniques while at work on-site as well as off-site.
Normal hours are Monday to Friday 20 hours per week. Hours before and during events may range well beyond normal 4hour day. Position may require availability to travel to meetings and conferences throughout the Puget Sound area.
