A canteen company is looking for a Qualified Chef to work in their Canteen located in the cafeteria of a local manufacturing company. You must be either Certified or have 2-5 years of equivlancy work experience. You must also have a Serv-Safe Certificate. Any other food related certificates are welcome.
The job duties are as follows: Must be able to prepare American and Japanese Cuisine. Configuring the weekly food order. Maintaining, cleaning and organizing the kitchen and serving areas of the Canteen. Keeping up with the State Food Code Standards. Maintaining proper food temperatures and following expiring guidelines. Working well as a team player while showing exceptional customer service with our clients. Must be able to work closely with management for new ideas.
This position is Monday-Friday, 6am - 1pm The salary is negotiable and this job will go from a temporary to a full time position in 90 days, for the right candidate.
