The Certified Coder will complete the following duties: analyze medical records to determine diagnosis and procedures; codes records accurately and perform DRG optimization at an advanced level: abstract clinical data from medical records for statistical and research purposes; code, diseases, conditions, and procedures for Inpatients, Outpatient surgery, Emergency room, Recurring, Laboratory and Radiology visits.
