Description: Pharmacy Technician
This technician serves patients by (a) initial verification and validation of prescriptions according to the standard operating procedures and guidelines established by Novixus for each particular segment of the prescription processing work flow; (b) operating the production segment of the processing using the supplied automated technology and/or manual technology for dispensing, packaging and mailing; (c) implementing patient care services mainly over the phone according to the standard operating procedures and guideline established by Novixus for patient and/or client support.
Workplace Environment: Closed door, mail order/ central pharmacy, and processing center. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certificate, valid (current); preferably from the State of Michigan.
Note: If you do not have your certificate yet, you must be in the process of completing the required course work and process successfully.
