Assure proposed specification and Food Safety changes to Master Data are properly initiated, evaluated and fully approved before implementation to ensure business systems are accurately maintained while planning and flawless execution occur. Ensure conformity to customer as well as government standards, most notably with high regard to the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) as well as HACCP compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following with additional duties assigned as needed:

Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training documents and processes for the target departments and staff that will be engaged in the Change Control process. Build and maintain Change Request Initiator forms, supporting SOP's and relevant documents. Plan and initiate training as needed for new users, as well as annual Change Request user refresher training.

Collaborate to seek confirmation from Quality, Procurement, R&D, Engineering, Maintenance, manufacturing, Sales Divisions, and all five manufacturing facilities to create and process change requests.

Manage the flow of data throughout the Change Control process to effectively discriminate the information to determine when a change request is deemed necessary or whether it falls under the guise of Food Safety/HACCP. Create/utilize Change Control SOP and flow chart to execute the Change Control process.

Generate and maintain change requests in the SAP Change Control database. Understands at times confidential information will be used when creating changes.

Track status of pending and completed change requests and effectively communicate to all parties involved any requirements throughout the progression of the initiated change. Assures proper follow up is in place to carry out all Change Control functions.

Communicate final approvals of change requests to drive continuous improvement efforts that streamline the Change Control process. Timeliness of data entry and approvals are critical to meet initiator and departmental schedules.

Recognize problems, develop, and follow through with problem resolution to maintain awareness, and support completion of proposed changes among all parties to sustain a timely, error-free process.

Provide back-up support to other Logistics employees during vacations and absences as applicable.

Qualifications:
Associate degree in related field required.

Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred.

Experience in Quality related processes and capabilities are required, which is typically related to a Quality environment.

Strong computer skills are required for this position, including Microsoft Office. Experience with SAP, e-mail and most office equipment is preferred. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while maintaining excellent organizational skills. A strong focus and attention to details is required.

Drivers' license required

HACCP certification is preferred (internal)

APICS certification preferred

ASQ certification preferred

Experience in Quality Auditing processes is strongly preferred.

HACCP training strongly preferred.

Experience with design, development, implementation and evaluation of training preferred.

Knowledge of SAP (or other Enterprise system) is preferred with the ability to understand the relationships between supporting systems that impact the Change Control process.
