Position
Overview:
DEPARTMENT: Sales
JOB TITLE:
Channel Account Manager/Business Development Manger
RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and develop South American channel
( key countries include Colombia, Peru, Mexico & Venezuela, although the
company is represented throughout Central & South America)
CORE DUTIES INCLUDE:
·
Manage, develop and enhance relationships with
existing dealers
·
Establish new dealers and channels/routes to
market
·
Drive indirect sales and the introduction of new
products through our dealer network
·
Identify and establish new key account
opportunities
·
Management of existing & emerging Channel accounts
CANDIDATES MUST:
·
Have personal and commercial presence and thus
be able to operate at all levels with our dealers and corporate customers
·
Have a minimum 5 years business
development/sales/channel management
·
Be sales and customer oriented, openly
optimistic and engaging
·
Be fluent in English and Spanish ( being
conversant in Portuguese would be a bonus)
·
Be willing and able to travel extensively and
regularly ( ~50%)
·
Have excellent interpersonal and communication
skills
·
Experience working abroad ( specifically in South
America a requirement)
·
Be able to demonstrate core company values
including energy, ownership, ability to get things done and take initiative
·
Possess strong numeracy skills to be able to
conduct price/deal negotiations
·
Possess a first hand working knowledge of the Stolen
Vehicle Recovery ( SVR) AVL/Asset Management/Personal Tracking & Fixed
Telemetry markets in Latin America
·
Preferably have experience in the fleet
telematics/Asset tracking /GSM industry
