Job Description

Position Summary

Working closely with direct sales, field marketing managers, and channel managers the Channel Field Marketing Manager prioritizes and drives marketing programs and/or enablement to drive pipeline for the North America sales team.

Responsibilities
The Channel Field Marketing Manager works jointly to create and execute co-marketing plans - aligned to the marketing and sales funnel - with the upper tier of resellers, services partners, and systems integrators while developing and executing enablement packages for lower tiered partners.

Territory Planning

Territory drives the strategy and tactics

Marketing, Sales and Channel work together to maximize territory results

Integrate the partners into territory planning

Executes on marketing plans in territory

Joint Marketing Planning & Execution (with Certain Partners)

Marketing engagement appropriate to strategic value

Shared plans with selected partners

Predictable, forecasted activity

Communications

Comprehensive provision of relevant, timely information
Delivered through email, webinar, face-to-face

Tools & Enablement

Feed content for partner self-service of marketing tools and materials

Provide input to development of partner-supporting infrastructure

Reporting and analysis

Report and analyze marketing programs, promotions, and overall business performances and provide insights to help grow the business.

Monitor competitive trends in the channel for these partners.

Channel readiness: ensure that appropriate partners are properly prepared for new product and new seasonal program launches

Requirements

8+ years marketing experience with 3+ years in channel marketing

Experience driving revenue through marketing strategies and program execution

Strong demand generation, data and analytic skills

Ability to assess business opportunities, track and analyze results

Project management skills and strong attention to details

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent interpersonal communication written and verbal

Strong presentation skills

Team player with proven track record in working effectively with cross-functional teams

Strong ability to influence at all levels, internally and externally

Ability to operate in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision

Bachelor's degree required
