Channel Marketing Manager CO-OP and Wholesale
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
∙ Develop merchandising and promotion strategies with Sales Management and product Marketing for Co-Ops, National Accounts,dealers & wholesalers.
∙ Execute marketing plan initiatives relating to new product introduction, co-op advertising, merchandising, shelf space allocation, planograms,and off-shelf placement.
∙ Create and execute plans that will elevate our value proposition.
∙ Work with Brand team to develop and produce communications and promotional initiatives such as national and account specific promotions.
∙ Facilitate and develop presentation material to support the sales team—with special focus during product introduction and product rationalization activities
∙ Manage channel conflicts through Pricing Change Requests per financial guidelines agreed upon between finance, channel marketing, and sales.
∙ Manage annual discount structures and rebate programs on an annual basis
∙ Develop key relationships with customers and sales team to drive commercial plan goals and uncover new co-marketing opportunities.
∙ Provide support on special projects as assigned.
∙ Manage promotional budget project budget to maximize ROI on commercial activity investments
∙ Able to work more than 40 hours weekly and weekends, as needed
∙ Able to travel, as needed approximately 30% travel required
Education and Work Experience:
∙ Bachelors degree from accredited college or university required
∙ Min 8 years sales & marketing experience in retail and hardware channels of distribution required
. Experienced with customer line reviews
. A basic understanding of category management best practices
∙ Strong presentation skills
∙ Computer literate on all major business software packages
∙ Good organizational skills.

∙ Basic understanding of HHI and Customer P&L’s
