Channel Sales Representative

We seek an experience IT Channel Sales Representative who is a motivated self starter with exceptional communication skills. Ideal is an account manager / sales background preferably in the IT or Channel Industry. The Channel Sales Representative will be responsible for directly engaging assigned accounts through, addressing needs, providing solutions, strengthening relationships, and implementing growth plans. The candidate will also engage in recruiting and enabling new business, growing revenue and increasing market share. This position can lead to further advancement and career growth opportunities for the right person.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and cultivate multiple Channel relationships at all levels within the assigned IT and/or technology reseller, distributor, and end user accounts to successfully implement initiatives, objectives and growth plans.

Generate new business opportunities and leads. Create proposals and quotations. Manage, monitor, and follow through on opportunities through closure.

Provide customer service and sales support to resellers, distributors, and end user customers.

Maintain consistent communication with each Account Team assigned to the specific business partners and distributors.

Generate consistent sales growth in all areas of the business through education, service,& initiatives.

Manage assigned accounts and recruit new partner accounts.

Conduct and lead sales calls, customer training, and webinars.

Educate reseller sales professionals on products, programs, promotions, competitive advantages and how to sell products to customers through product knowledge sessions.

Participate in requested trade shows, events, trainings and outings. Follow-up on all trade show and event leads.

Manage and execute sales promotions and marketing activities to specified goals.

Participate in forecasting and development of growth initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

2+ years of IT / technology based sales experience. Data/Com, Electrical, or IT Channel sales experience a plus.

A proven track record of sales excellence with a consistent achievement of assigned objectives and quotas.

Strong Account Management, with a sense of urgency, accuracy, and follow through.

Proven ability to develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth in assigned accounts.

Professional written, verbal, presentation and phone communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member; self motivating.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.

Some travel is required.
