As an ambassador of Eataly products and services, our Cheesemonger is responsible for helping to create and maintain quality experiences for each guest that comes to Eataly. Eataly ambassadors are expected to actively engage with guests and spend quality time with each customer.

Job Title: Cheesemonger

Job Summary: Our Cheesemonger is responsible for outstanding customer service at our Salumi/Formaggi counter. He or she will assist guests with choosing from our selection of cured meats and cheeses and will be a source of education on our related products. The Cheesemonger will then slice and package any customer selections. Our ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of cheese and will be passionate about Eataly and quality food products!

Duties & Responsibilities:

--Provides exemplary customer service at the Salumi/Formaggi counter.
--Tastes, smells, feels and observes cheese and salumi samples for quality.
--Weighs, packages and labels counter products and rings up customer purchases.

Minimum Qualifications:

--Previous experience working as a cheesemonger is required. Must have knowledge of salumi/formaggi products and how to explain and sell those products to customers.
--Basic math skills are required. Must have demonstrable knife skills and must have knowledge of slicing and preparing cured meats and cheeses.
--Food Handler's license is strongly preferred.
