Required Qualification
*Graduated from an approved culinary school or five years experience.
*Able to give and follow directions, develops recipes and know and/or learn therapeutic diet cookery.
*Writes menus for all functions.
*Previous experience in hospital food service preferred.
*Training in HACCP standards.

Job description/Responsibilities
To Provide quality nutrition care to patients, cafeteria patrons,physicians under the direction of the Director of Nutrition Services and /or his designee, by directing and supervising activities of food production and purchasing wich involves planning, procuring, storing, preparing, cooking and baking of food: inservicing employees on nutritious and attractively prepared food preparation and display;implementing and revising policies and procedures pertaing to food service production;developing and /or providing recipes for menu items introduced into the menu cycle; following sanitation and safety standards for the health department nad JCAHO/OSHA/HACCP.
