Atria Golden Creek is seeking a Chef at our assisted living community in Irvine, CA. The primary job function of the Chef is supervise daily operations of the kitchen including meal preparation, purchasing, costcontrol, sanitation, safety, and staff training. The Chef is responsible for the preparation and cooking of food in the community and ensures that all meals are prepared and presented according to Atria standards. Qualified candidates will have excellent customer service skills, a working knowledge of food preparation, and a warm personality.
High School Diploma or GED.
Culinary Training preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a lead cook or chef in a hospitality or
Understands the aspects of fine dining as related to both meal preparation and
dining room service.
Serve Safe Certification.
Able to read and follow recipes and printed production guides, cleaning
schedules, and logs
Positive Can-Do attitude.
Able to build positive and strong relationships with employees, coworkers and
Able to create a strong sense of team work and cooperation among all staff.
Focused and dedicated to provide excellent customer service.
Able to handle multiple jobs and priorities.
