Sodexo Campus Services is currently seeking a Chef / Bakery Manager for Luther College in Decorah, Iowa serving 1900 students daily and all catering baking. The chef at this account will be in charge of a high volume bakery operation and developing production methods and efficiencies to start selling on a retail basis. They will supervise a staff of 4 hourly associates in a very well equipped and state of the art bakery.
The successful candidate will be high energy, able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume food production environment, have great culinary, interpersonal, organizational and management skills and experience. Catering background and high end bakery experience preferred.

Responsible for food production in a foodservice operation. May be responsible for one area (i.e., hot foods) or could specialize (i.e., catering). Supervises a staff of hourly associates. May be responsible for food inventory and ordering. May conduct culinary training. Manages the kitchen. Reports to GM or Executive Chef.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
