Position: Chef de CuisinePosition Type: Full Time, 5 days per week with a minimum of 55 hours per week. Nights, weekends and holidays are required for this


Job Purpose:
Entry level management position that focuses on successfully accomplishing the daily objectives in the kitchen. Leads staff while personally assisting in all areas of the kitchen, including food production, purchasing and kitchen sanitation. Position contributes to ensuring guest and associate satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. This is a unique location and we are looking for our CDC to own their stations like they were their own restaurant, keep the menuing interesting and the place spotless and food PRIME.

  • Must be able to perform jib functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment
  • Follow directions thoroughly
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Lead and inspire your team to achieve and, ideally, exceed PBD's and clients target core objective and values
  • To ensure the company culture and PBD brand is visible in all aspects of the business
  • Develop hourly associates to be available for promotion

  • Extensive knowledge in local and worldly cuisines
  • Exceptional guest relations skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Computer skills proficiency
  • Thorough understanding of financial reports including labor
  • Flexibility with work schedule
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills
  • Minimum of two years culinary/kitchen management experience in a fast paced environment
  • Good knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
