Assist in daily activities that drive compliance deemed necessary to improve the Safety, Environment, Quality Process' and Production Systems.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors regardless of weather conditions and temperature.
Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment as required by plant policy/procedure/job site, including: basic, work area and task specific (for example: respirator/SCBA, flame retardant clothing) personal protective equipment.
Ability to maneuver throughout the facility, including climbing stairs, ladders and working in tight and confined spaces.
Ability to work rotating shift, overtime, weekends, and Holidays
Incumbents could be exposed to noise, extreme hot products and hazards in the event of a chemical spill or emission.
High school diploma or GED equivalency
Associate Degree or one (1) year certificate in Chemical Process Operations Technology from an accredited college or university OR two (2) years experience as a process operator in the chemical, rubber or petroleum industry OR five (5) years experience in manufacturing/processing (non-petrochemical) field
