The Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for the oversight of the SHC Corporate Compliance Program that includes Brockton Hospital, Inc., and Signature Healthcare Medical Group, Inc. The Chief Compliance Officer plans, implements and monitors the compliance program to detect and prevent unethical, illegal or other conduct not complying with organization policy or compliance standards/procedures. The Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for maintaining and expanding visibility for the corporate compliance program at all levels within the organization and collaborating with key stakeholders to promote compliance. The Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for taking all necessary action under the compliance program to enforce compliance standards by means of auditing, training, mandating compliance and corrective action, and recommending necessary disciplinary action The Chief Compliance Officer will make regular routine reports to the organization’s boards and senior leaders. Bachelor’s Degree in related field. JD, CPA, MBA, CHC (Certified Healthcare Compliance), RHIA preferred. Health care compliance experience in a hospital or physician group. Knowledge of federal/state fraud and abuse laws, health care documentation and billing rules.
