The Chief Learning Officer will be based in NYC and will be responsible for assessing the training needs to align with the company's goals, designing, deploying and maintaining comprehensive training programs and resources in multiple areas including, but not limited to: Leasing, Administrative/Housing Program Compliance, Software applications - property management and financial, Federal, State and local Human Rights/Fair Housing statutes, supervisory/leadership skills, etc. The Chief Learning officer will supervise a staff of professional trainers located in multiple states and will be expected to maximize the use of resources, such as our learning management system, in providing timely, comprehensive and cost-effective training portfolio-wide. Qualifications: - proven ability to design, deliver and maintain a diversified training program - exceptional communication and organization skills - ability to work effectively with diverse groups/personalities in order to draw on the knowledge and experience of Subject Matter Experts in designing various training plans. - experience and proven ability in using blended learning, including webinars, ILT, on-line training, etc. - experience in the effective use of a learning management system, including extensive internal course development - knowledge of the multi-family housing industry and the scope of training needs in the industry - exceptional supervisory skills and proven leadership ability - Extensive training experience with a degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field The successful candidate will show us a proven track record of designing, developing and maintaining various training plans for all levels of the organization. We are looking for a hands-on experienced individual who has worked with the operations side of the business assessing training needs, current resources and reconciling both to create a highly effective business learning environment complementing our goals and objectives.
