Hanover Research is actively recruiting for an experienced manager and leader to serve as Chief Operating Officer for our rapidly growing company. This individual will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for ensuring that business operations are efficient and effective, providing exceptional management of all company resources. The candidate must have a proven track record of success in facilitating change and development within a growing organization, and must possess the managerial skills needed to accelerate improvement within the high-energy, high-expectations environment of Hanover Research.
Location: Washington, DC
Primary responsibilities will include the following:
Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple company departments;
Advise key members of senior management on planning, priorities, and policy matters;
Manage company-wide policy formulation;
Implement appropriate polices, internal controls, and other necessary procedures;
Oversee, direct, and organize the work of multiple teams;
Foster an environment that will support the recruitment and retention of exceptional employees;
Contribute to the development of the company's strategic goals and objectives and monitor this operational performance;
Ensure the company meets necessary regulatory compliance standards and quality accreditations as required;
Represent Hanover Research to various professional, civic and governmental organizations
Execute special projects and travel as needed.

Minimum Education Required:
A Bachelors' degree in Business, Accounting, or related fields.
MBA or Masters' Degree highly advantageous.
8-14 years of full-time work experience in a managerial role, preferably with experience in operational and financial oversight.
