General Description

The primary objective of this leadership role is to enhance, augment, and help marshal the activities of the firm’s distribution efforts. Assists in the development and implementation of a strategic plan for sustained, long-term growth of Parametric’s business by developing and providing critical services in support of the company’s distributions efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

Maximize sales, consultant relations and client service effectiveness for the distribution team by allowing them to focus externally on clients and prospects instead of internal administrative tasks.

Develop and implement necessary workflow/process enhancements to drive more leverage and efficiency into business model.

Lead an effective day to day business operating environment capable of supporting a growing and more complex business model.

Oversee and lead the design, integration, deployment and support of business analysis tools and a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Implement sales reporting and other business metrics to better monitor actual progress against plan.

Provide data and analysis in support of:
Product/Strategy positioning

Client and consultant meetings and reviews

Marketing materials

Consultant/Institutional Investor coverage and territory alignment

Distribution/Sales metrics

RFP/RFI responses

GIPS compliance efforts


Distribution Commissions

Support the Managing Director – Institutional Sales and Service by assisting in the day-to-day management of the business.

Collaborate with Managing Director – Institutional Sales and Service and other senior members of the team and the firm in the development of the distribution strategy. Monitor ongoing progress relative to sales plan and implement prudent processes to ensure the business remains on target.

Work with partners across the firm to introduce/evaluate any and all new vehicles and products for both the Institutional and International businesses.

Review existing level of technology support for the business’ sales and marketing efforts; determine and coordinate implementation of improvements required to improve efficiency.

Ensure all compliance controls are in place and rigorously enforced. Work closely with the Compliance Group to better ensure adherence to all regulations.

Provide leadership on pricing process. Collaborate with product management, distribution, and finance in the delivery of an effective pricing strategy.

Assess existing processes and determine if improved operating or technology procedures could increase sales effectiveness and client service.

Provide support for new product initiatives and process improvement.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum of 10 years of related distribution, product and financial administration experience.

Experience in strategic planning and execution.

Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.

Experience structuring sales quota goals and establishing revenue expectations.

Knowledgeable of current market trends and the competitive landscape.

Must possesses a strong investment acumen and be a student of the asset management industry with a thorough understanding of Institutional distribution.

Strong communicator with exemplary interpersonal, management, writing, and editing skills as well as an attention to detail and accuracy.

Pragmatic and well-grounded while also exhibiting creativity and resourcefulness.

Strong project management and influencing skills.

Collaborative in their interaction with colleagues across the firm regardless of function or level; a team player.

Highly motivated and hardworking, with a passion for excellence.

Experience in global institutional markets and wealth management segment.
