Requirements:

• Student currently enrolled in an accredited ECE or ECD program.
• One year child care experience preferred.

Job Description:
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute is an interdisciplinary institution dedicated to conducting basic, clinical and translational research on conditions and diseases that affect children, and is part of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and University of Pennsylvania research community.
The Early Head Start Program located at the Karabots Center in West Philadelphia is seeking a Child Care Worker. This position is Per Diem and hours will vary, but typical need is 2 to 4 times per month, 1 - 3 hours during weekdays and some evenings; occasional weekend days, if available.

The primary responsibility is to provide childcare to children (including infants & toddlers) of Early Head Start parents during various program events and activities. Also, provide developmentally appropriate care and activities for young children, including infants and toddlers.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES/REGISTRATIONS
• Certification in CPR and 1st Aid .
