PURPOSE : Responsible for provision of mental health services to infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their families applying trauma informed and attachment based models and interventions.
POSITION SPECIFIC : Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency skills preferred, but not required.
Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a mental health related field.
Licensed Qualified Mental Health Professional strongly preferred.
Experience in counseling, social work, or community service in related field required.
Minimum two years early childhood experience required.
Experience working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds required.
Experience providing supervision / consultation preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word. Ability to master proprietary software required, including electronic health record system.
Knowledge of child development required.
Ability to work effectively with teams including disciplines in early childhood education and early intervention and connecting with diverse families is required.
This job may require lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking may be required. Stooping, kneeling, bending, balancing, reaching, and use of the hands may occur throughout the workday.
