Job Title: CUGN Registrar
Work Team: Christian University GlobalNet (CUGN) and

Position Summary:
On a half-time (twenty hours per week) basis, oversee the academic functions and student record keeping of CUGN.

Essential Functions:
•Work with the President, Academic Dean, Admissions Coordinator, and Director of Online Learning in the oversight of all formal academic programs of CUGN, including faculty coordination and communication, course and content management, assistance with product development, and other assigned academic projects.
•Assist in managing the delivery of the CUGN learning programs according to best-practices standards.
•Advise concerning revisions of course content to provide students with challenging and effective online theological learning.
•Establish and/or refine administrative practices for keeping of student records and issuing of transcripts and/or certificates of completion.
•Explore and assist in the development of new online offerings (graduate, undergraduate, and certificate).
•Ensure that technical and administrative processes of the registrar’s office function according to established standards. Recommend changes to policies and procedures as needed.
•Ensure that all outgoing communication is professional and in compliance with generally accepted academic standards.
•Complete assigned projects according to schedule and within budget.
•Support the global strategy of both ChristianCourses and CUGN.
•Assist the academic dean in accreditation issues and other reporting requirements as they may arise.
Study or Knowledge and Experience:
•Advanced academic degree preferred
•Technical aptitude and desire to adapt to new technologies
•Familiarity with online learning management systems; Moodle experience preferred
•Bible courses or equivalent training to ensure strong familiarity with theological terms and general Bible knowledge
•Experience or familiarity with academic programs and processes
•Ability to coordinate multiple tasks
•Aptitude in word processing, spreadsheets, student management system, and scheduling software
•Personal characteristics including professionalism, discretion, accuracy, and tact
