We are currently searching for an energetic and innovative Cisco Voice Consultant for Core BTS, a successful business transformation company, providing organizations comprehensive IT solutions from application development to virtualization. The Cisco Voice Consultant will be an experienced Network Infrastructure and IP Voice consultant with experience in current Cisco technologies. Core's ideal candidate will have extensive hands on experience with Cisco technologies, with exposure to Cisco's Voice, Wireless and Security products. This position will be located out of one of our Wisconsin offices - Brookfield, Madison, or Appleton.

The consultant in this position:
  • This position will act as a technical lead as needed for project implementations
  • Perform telephony and UC requirement analysis and assist with requirements gathering, optimization and upgrade assistance
  • Design, architect, and upgrade large complex service provider and enterprise infrastructures
  • Assist in analysis of Contact/Call Center environments and propose solutions
  • Communicate regularly with the customer, project team, and other project stakeholders regarding project management activities including planning, progress, issues and problem resolution
  • Provide Tier II & Tier III Support for Existing Customers when required • Provide post-project support
  • Execute with a “hands on” implementation of projects

Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:
  • Bachelor of Science from an accredited university or equivalent experience
  • One to three years of experience as a Engineering Consultant
  • Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) or Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) minimum requirement
  • Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) Voice is preferred
  • Experience with VoIP, primarily MGCP,H323 and SIP
  • Experience migrating PBX and/or UC and UM systems, and optimizing management for large amounts of users
  • Experience with deploying and managing telephony gateways like Cisco, AudioCodes, Dialogic or equivalent
  • Experience with Exchange Unified Messaging or Equivalent
  • Exchange 2007/ 2010 knowledge a plus
  • Solid and demonstrated communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong Layer 2 & 3 Networking Skills (Cisco Switches\Routers)
  • Additional expertise in either Cisco Data Center (Nexus ICS and/or Virtualization) and Cisco Security (ASA\VPN.) is desired
  • Call Manager, Unity, Unity Connections, CME, UCCX and Meeting Place Express
