The Solutions Leader for the Citrix track will have a strong understanding of Citrix technologies from a marketing perspective. Using input from ISS Compute Engineering, you will use core Citrix technologies to build a portfolio of solutions available for consumption in the ISS Compute service catalog. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing new business, building strong business relationships, driving Windows Server, Citrix, Virtualization, and Cloud.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Creating and executing a business plan to ensure your product's revenue and unit goals are achieved
  • Managing capacity in the Citrix Farms
  • Managing obsolescence and tech refresh in the Citrix Farms
  • Identifying cost out opportunities in respective technology area
  • Developing a healthy Citrix Solutions pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Bringing customers to agreement on the business value of proven Citrix, Windows, Virtualization and Cloud solutions
  • Develop in-depth understanding of the platform and related solutions and the value they bring in solving business problems
  • Ensure appropriate resources are engaged to help customers evaluate Citrix solutions
  • Increase deployment of the Citrix (XenApp) Platform in your customer set
  • Drive customer and partner satisfaction for your products and solutions
  • Connect enterprise customers and partners with the Engineering / Run groups
  • Contributing to the recruitment, engagement and readiness of partners who can help drive business
  • Team effectively with other Business Engagement leaders, Business Relationship managers, Engineering and operations resources to meet your goals and customer needs
  • Understand ISS strengths relative to competition and effectively communicate those strengths to customers in a positive manner, knowledge of VMWare, Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft Licensing is plus
  • Delivering reference and satisfied customers that can be leveraged in future sales engagements
  • Developing Citrix (XenApp) solutions considering client’s existing infrastructure, performance and application requirements
  • Accurately Develop rightsizing solutions based on customers’ requirements not demand.
  • Develop ROI analysis for client’s adoption of Citrix products
  • Stakeholders in the Engineering NTIs and Tollgate processes
  • Support Engineering in the creation of technology lifecycle planning
  • Work alongside Engineering to develop technology roadmaps
  • Evaluates and Leads NSI based on need & relevance to the business
  • Acts as the feedback conduit between Engineering and the Solutions team
  • Develop list of cost out opportunities and own the execution
  • Tune and optimize new and existing technologies in the ISS solutions and service catalogue
  • Work closely with ISS Run teams to insure deployed solutions are meeting expectations for performance, delivered business value and risk abatement

    Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / related field (or a minimum 8 years of IT experience preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience building and running Citrix products – specifically XenApp
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with VMWare virtualization products

    Desired Characteristics
  • A deep understanding of the Windows OS and how it integrates with the XenApp product
  • Experience working with Active Directory and GPO’s
  • Experience with managing user profiles (both local and roaming)
  • Experience with the Edgesight monitoring tool and license management
  • A working understanding of IIS web server
  • A working understanding of SQL Server database
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience working with and leading global teams
  • Demonstrated project leadership capability
  • Experience working in a global environment with team members working remotely located in various time zones
  • Strong written and verbal communication
