Postmates is rapidly expanding into new markets and we’re looking for an experienced City General Manager with 5+ years experience in operations, management or marketing, who is responsible for the development, growth and success of our products in one of the major cities. The City General Manager is a hands on job that is ultimately responsible for the success of Postmates in a market and as such, individuals must have a proven track record and exceptional management skills.
Work with our launch team to launch Postmates in your city
Manage our supply chain (courier onboarding)
Develop, execute and measure our local marketing strategies and user growth
Run deep analytics for product growth
Expansion & planning recruiting with local partners
5+ years of operational management experience
Strong communication skills
Proven track record in scaling products
Focus on analytics and program results
Solution-based selling skills
Development and expansion of a customer base and ability to generate repeat business
Deliver results on time-sensitive projects
Strategic and analytical thinker who has shown the ability to scale operations
Pro-actively develop plans to address new challenges and opportunities
You should be comfortable working in a startup environment and participating in individual and group critiques.
