They plan and execute marketing campaigns that span online and offline channels—all designed to engage and grow a strong local Eventbrite community of event organizers and attendees.

We are hiring a City Marketing Program Manager to manage and expand this incredible team.

The candidate's early career would have likely fallen somewhere on the spectrum of community management (social or local evangelist).

At the core of a candidate’s skill set, we are seeking someone who is superbly skilled at managing and motivating teams and well versed in measuring and driving traditional/grassroots marketing and sales strategies. An orientation towards business objectives and strategic thinking are the underpinnings. A fresh progressive mindset, creative ideas and clever approaches should be balanced with proven successes.

Adaptability and thinking fast on their feet are hallmark traits. The ideal candidate would enjoy navigating quickly across a wide array of topics and issues as they artfully touch a lot of areas and metros at once. Startup energy and flexibility should be part of their DNA.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities and Objectives:
Coach and motivate a remote team of City Marketing Managers

Formulate a strategy, framework and vision for the program and oversee and measure impact

Ensure that the city marketing strategies and plans are aligned with the business and marketing objectives, and support the sales and business development teams.

Run weekly check-in meetings that inspire creativity, provide strong operational practices, and guide tactics and long-term vision

Facilitate the regular sharing of best practices across the team

Own reporting and metrics for the program

Serve as liaison between various groups at HQ and City Marketing Managers

Leverage quantitative and qualitative feedback and reporting to constantly evolve the program strategy

Merchandise the impact of City Marketing Managers to the executive team through data reports and by surfacing impactful programs/successes in the local communities.

Expert communicator in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings.

Strategic thinker. See the forest through the trees, create a vision for the program and forge the best path forward.

Management experience. Know and like people. Understand how to identify and cultivate talent, and to motivate a group.

Marketing experience. An expert on creating innovative multi-channel campaigns – including traditional and grassroots programs.

Detail-oriented, disciplined, and thorough. No stone goes unturned.

Maniacally organized. There are a lot of moving pieces to this program, but you will be on top of all of them.

Analytical. Adept at leveraging data tools/resources to measure the efficacy and impact of programs.

Huge bonus for people that have demonstrated success with local bloggers.

Extensive experience building, managing, and directing street teams to facilitate high touch customer acquisition and activate creative local marketing efforts.

Expert at crafting and evaluating Brand messaging for a broad range of marketing touch-points to ensure clear and consistent communication.

We are looking ideally for qualified candidates with 5-8 years of related experience.
