The Adjuster will investigate 1st party property claims (Mobile Home, Dwelling and Personal Property) determining coverage, completing estimates in estimating program, directing Independent Adjusters, and concluding claims with payment or denial. The Adjuster will provide prompt initial contact, timely follow up and resolution in the handling of claims by complete investigation and documentation of claims as governed by department File Requirements. Candidates should have excellent decision making skills, solid organization skills and outstanding customer service.
This position will need to fulfill adjuster licensing requirements and any required state continuing education and meet or exceed unit/departmental performance goals.
Previous customer service (1+ years) is required

Preferred: Previous Claims experience and knowledge of multi-line business.
Required: 4 year college degree -OR- 4 years of related claims work experience -AND- a demonstrated consistent commitment to self development through completion of obtaining P&C license and/or pursuit of AIC designation.
Preferred: AIC, CPCU, SCLA or other industry related training or education coursework.
