Essential Functions:
Research and respond to telephonic and internet claims/bill status requests
Gather all relevant documentation regarding reimbursement inquiries and make initial determinations on resolution
Obtain documentation for incorrectly paid claims and make initial determinations on resolution
Assist in filing reimbursement appeals; provide timely follow up on outstanding appeals
Research unapplied funds and make recommendations regarding payment applications or refunds

Qualifications

At least 2 years experience in workers’ compensation-Preferred
At least 2 years experience in billing and reimbursement operations-Preferred
Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
This position will be 8-5 Monday through Friday.
