Claims Customer Service Representative

Our Claims Customer Service Representatives have the important role of helping our customers report a claim after being in an auto accident. They take down any information relevant to the accident from car damage to location. Knowing the stress that can accompany this situation, our representatives provide the best possible service while keeping an eye on the details.

Start Date:
8/19/13

Training Schedule:
Monday - Friday 9am-6pm (first 4 weeks)

Work Schedule (after training):
Monday, Friday, and 2 additional weekdays, plus either Saturday or Sunday. Scheduled hours are 12pm-9pm.

Pay Rate:
$13.50/hr, plus shift differential of 10-15% for non-traditional hours

Education, Experience and Skills Needed to be Successful:
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • Two years work experience in a customer service environment
  • Proven job stability including one year with past employer
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to connect with caller while collecting necessary information and conveying appropriate expectations
  • Ability to deliver caring, attentive, knowledgeable, confident, helpful, and prompt claims service while also interpreting and communicating all guidelines effectively
  • Proficient in computer window-based programs with exceptional system and internet navigational skills
  • Documents and escalates customer complaints to appropriate parties
  • Able to handle stress, complex and diverse calls in a contact center environment
  • Capable of working independently and with minimal supervision
  • Able to solve problems and multitask while handling customer calls
