-Data entry of Loss detail documents utilizing our Claims system which is critical to the inception of the claims handling process
-Prepare and maintain reports monitored by Management
-Research and investigate critical payments to ensure proper transmittal to claimant(s)
-Maintain an organized and structured Claims file room. Requires lifting of files and boxes
-Perform monthly quality control audits on claim files
-Distribute and process incoming mail to a large Claims Unit which requires pushing a mail cart
-General office duties including but not limited to: filing, photocopy/scan work, handling incoming calls, maintain fax mail boxes, order and maintain office supplies
-Provide back-up assistance to the front desk receptionist using a multi- line phone system
-Special projects as needed
Requirements:
-High School diploma/GED equivalent
-Service oriented
-Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), internet search
-Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
-Good written & verbal communication skills
-Ability to lift, bend and push
