Manage classroom scheduling equitably and coordinate all day-to-day operations of the Media and Games Network MAGNET space (five co-located NYU academic programs: Tisch, Steinhardt, CUSP, Poly and Courant): develop and implement operational policies and practices to ensure classroom and event activities run smoothly and successfully and that the safety and security of faculty, staff, students, facilities, and equipment is realized. Design, coordinate and conduct technical workshops and seminars on classroom use in response to and adapted to meet faculty and student needs; ensure training is consistent with established industry and MAGNet curricular standards and related technologies. Train, schedule and supervise students to serve as a team to support all classroom, administrative and event activities in the MAGNet space. Serve as a resource and technical expert by researching, recommending and coordinating purchases and maintenance of equipment for curricular equipment in classrooms and common spaces.

Qualifications/Required Education:
Bachelor's degree

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in media technology

Required Experience:
4 years media classroom facility operations, staff supervision and some budget administration experience including media operations, scheduling, and assessing space and related needs or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Experience:
Experience in academic and/or media environment.
Administrative experience in an academic environment or equivalent

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills. Ability to communicate policies and procedures to individuals at all levels and use problem-solving and negotiating skills to effectively achieve solutions. Proficiency with a wide range of current projection, media and computer technologies. Ability to direct, evaluate and implement a variety of operations and activities

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Knowledge of current and emerging media technologies (e.g. projection, flat screens, conference and presentation software)
